Minerals North “2020 Vision” February Update
Minerals North 2020 - Quesnel - April 29 to May 1
Conference Agenda Nearing Completion
Which are leading exploration and mining projects in northern British Columbia? What are key trends and issues shaping this critical economic sector? How might this activity contribute to my business or my community? These are the types of questions addressed at the one and a half day Minerals North Conference. To date, the strong 2020 Vision line-up includes expertise from organizations such as the Association for Mineral Exploration BC (AMEBC) and Geoscience BC, companies such as Centerra Gold, Pretium Resources and Barkerville Gold providing project updates and a panel session linking historic gold mining in the north Cariboo to the present. Look for the preliminary agenda and updates at www.mineralnorth.ca (Programming).
Great Facilities Make Great Events
2020 Vision will be based out of the West Fraser Centre in downtown Quesnel. Operated by the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District, the full-sized ice sheet and the building’s modern amenities make an ideal venue for staging a professional trade show. At 2020 Vision the conference portion takes place just metres away at the Quesnel and District Seniors’ Center, allowing for good interaction between trade show exhibitors and conference delegates. Those attending 2020 Vision will also gather for its Welcome Reception in another high-quality facility, the local campus of the College of New Caledonia.
