Pre-conference Tours
Burns Lake is pleased to partner with Endako to provide mine tours to our delegates. Registration is $50 – sign up when you register for the conference!
Tours will leave Burns Lake as follows:
1st Bus: 9 am departure returning to Burns Late at 2pm.
2nd Bus: Noon departure returning at 5pm. Afternoon tour is sold out
The afternoon tour is sold out. If you have already registered for a tour of Endako a Minerals North representative will be in contact with you confirm the time of your tour.
Endako Mines Tour Safety Requirements:
Attendees must be 14 years or older.
Absolutely NO contact lenses can be worn. This is a Mine Code regulation and will be firmly enforced. Safety glasses will be provided.
No horseplay. Disregard for safety regulations is strictly prohibited.
No cell phones.
No smoking.
If participants have safety-toed shoes or boots, Endako encourages them to be worn. If not sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots, without a significant heel are appropriate. No slip-on, open toed shoes or sandals.
No shorts or skirts can be worn (other than for cultural or religious reasons). If you do wear such garments be aware that they can get caught in moving machinery, and that there are people working below open grate walkways.
Hair longer than shoulder length must be put up and able to fit under a protective hardhat.
You will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability.
